  6. Exams  can be a problem.  Some people find that, no matter how hard they
  7. revise  in  advance,  on the day they put incorrect answers to questions
  8. they  know.   Other people just can't be bothered to revise, and usually
  9. end  up  flunking everything.  But the most annoying person of all is he
  10. who  does  not revise yet still obtains marks which make grown men weep.
  11. Forgive  me  if  it  seems  as if I'm bragging, but as far as history is
  12. concerned,  I'm in the final category.  Unfortunately for french I am in
  13. the  second  category,  I  don't  want to do badly but I don't feel like
  14. wasting  valuable  time  that  could  be spent sleeping reading up on my
  15. infinitive  past  participle  verbs.   So  the  obvious solution to this
  16. situation is to cheat.

  18.   The most common form of cheating is to smuggle notes into the exam.  A
  19. problem  with  this is that you can never fit much useful information on
  20. your  cheat sheet, and whatever you do write will not occur in the exam.
  21. When  you get your irrelevant sheet out to read, you will immediately be
  22. caught,  and  your  paper cancelled.  I think it is not worth the effort
  23. trying  to  smuggle  notes  on paper into the exam.  A different form of
  24. cheating needs to be utilised.

  26.   The ideal medium for cheating would be able to store a large amount of
  27. information  in  a small space.  By writing a lot you are bound to cover
  28. whatever  crops  up  in  the  exam.   However  it  is important that you
  29. condense your notes, as you do not want to spend too much time searching
  30. for  an  answer.   I have discovered the perfect way to cheat - take all
  31. your  notes  with  you  into the exam on a microfiche!  I don't know why
  32. this  idea  has  not  been  found  earlier,  but  to  me it seems almost
  33. faultless.   You can take all the information you need for the exam with
  34. you,  in  a  very  compact  size.   With  careful  sleight  of hand, the
  35. invigilators  will  never notice as you take your microfiche out of your
  36. pocket.   No  more being the dunce of the class, with this you can get A
  37. grades in every subject!

  39.   There  are  a  few  small drawbacks, but these do not detract from the
  40. shining  brilliance  of  this  system.  The first minor quibble some may
  41. have  with  this  system  is  the  sparse  availability of the necessary
  42. equipment  for  creating  microfiche.  But I'm sure if you look around a
  43. bit,  you will find someone that can help you.  Try asking the librarian
  44. at  the school bookshop; they are always a useful source of information,
  45. whatever  your  query may be.  They will point you in the direction of a
  46. microfiche  manufacturer,  and  you'll  be  just  a step away from those
  47. perfect results.

  49.    There  is  another  small  point  some of you may make regarding this
  50. system.   I  freely  admit  that to read your microfiche you will need a
  51. microfiche  reader.   I  do  not  feel this should create a problem to a
  52. resourceful  student.   Again,  borrow  one from the library, or failing
  53. that  you  could  pop  along to the local county hall.  If you explained
  54. your  situation  I'm  sure they would be happy to help you out.  Now you
  55. should be ready to step into the exam room, confident you will do well.

  57.   It  would  be  beneficial  to  your results if the desk you sat at was
  58. located  directly  above  a  power socket, to help the microfiche reader
  59. work.  If you enter the exam room to find yourself away from any socket,
  60. raise  a  hand and the invigilator will move you near one, with a smile.
  61. You  may  find it troublesome lifting the microfiche reader to your desk
  62. as  they  tend  to be slightly on the heavy side.  If you cannot manage,
  63. get a friend to help you out.  If anyone asks what the microfiche reader
  64. is  for,  tell  them  it  is a lucky mascot that you have had since your
  65. childhood.   Remember to make sure no one sees what you are doing during
  66. the  exam,  or your game will be up.  You may find the microfiche reader
  67. makes  the  desk space sparse, but don't let that bother you.  If things
  68. really do get a little cramped, ask for another desk.

  71. virtually  faultless.   Use  it  well, and you'll get the best grades in
  72. your year.
